The Culinary Residence — Exclusive Gastronomic Experiences at Can Fressa, Mallorca
Curated Gastronomic Residencies · Mallorca The Culinary ResidenceBecause great food, great wine and great company deserve nothing less.
Join an exceptional culinary host — a chef, cookbook author, or food creator — for an exclusive residency at Can Fressa. Every detail is taken care of. All you need to do is show up.
Can Fressa is entirely yours. Not a room here, a dinner there. All of it — the kitchen, the dining room, the pool, the bodega, the garden, the terrace — exclusively for the guests and the culinary host leading the residency.
Each residency is both structured and unhurried. Market visits, producer encounters, kitchen sessions, long lunches, private dinners. The schedule is considered. The days are spacious enough to feel like your own.

Can Fressa is a privately owned manor house in the village of Alaró — at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains, historically rooted and architecturally exceptional.
Can Fressa is not a hotel. It is a private manor — and for the duration of each residency, it is entirely yours. When you arrive, there are no other guests. Just the people you will spend your residency with. The TCR team are present throughout to take care of every detail — a private chef, housekeeping, and full logistical support — so the only thing anyone needs to think about is being here.
Each room at Can Fressa is its own quiet world. No two are the same — antique furniture, original details, the kind of character that takes centuries to accumulate. Beds you actually want to sleep in. Light that changes beautifully through the day. Every room has its own private bathroom, and every room feels like it was made for someone who appreciates the difference between a beautiful space and a merely comfortable one. You will not want to leave.
The kitchen at Can Fressa is the heart of every residency. Professional-grade and built for serious cooking, it is where sessions happen, ideas take shape, and the day finds its rhythm. Meals move wherever the moment calls for — by the pool, in the bodega, in the lounge, on the terrace. Breakfasts, afternoon sessions and evening dinners blur into one another.
Alaró sits at the foot of the Tramuntana mountains in the heart of the island — 45 minutes from Palma airport, surrounded by almond and olive groves. Not the coast. The interior. Where Mallorca is quieter, older, and more itself. It also happens to be the countryside village that everyone wants to live in. There is a reason for that: it has the beauty, the character, the market, the food — and an atmosphere that feels genuinely alive. Not remote. Not quiet in the wrong way. Just right.
Pool, gardens, courtyards and terraces — all of it yours. The manor's outdoor spaces are where days begin and evenings end, where conversations continue long after the table is cleared.
Can Fressa has its own bodega stocked with carefully chosen Mallorcan and Spanish bottles. Tastings, evening pours, and the occasional late-night glass — all part of the experience.
We collaborate with exceptional voices in food — chefs, cookbook authors, food writers, and creators whose audiences trust them — and build a residency around their voice, their cuisine, and their community.
As the culinary host, your role is simple: bring your perspective, lead a handful of sessions, and be present with the people who came because of you. Everything else — the programme, the producers, the logistics, the food, the experience — is handled entirely by us. We design it, curate it, and run it from start to finish.
Your residency does not need to be Mallorcan in focus. We build the programme around you — your cuisine, your creative direction, your point of view. You bring the vision and the audience relationship. We make it extraordinary.
We respond to every enquiry personally, usually within 48 hours.
